Services offered to Corporates
Brahma Kumaris has engaged with various corporate houses, providing training programmes to their driving staff as well as other support staff on specific themes with the aim of improving their road safety performance.
Some of these collaborative efforts are mentioned here:
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) - LPG Gas Division:
HPCL has roped in the Brahma Kumaris to conduct training programmes for all the drivers who drive the LPG tanker trucks and cylinder trucks for their company. These training programmes were initiated during National Road Safety Week in January 2013.
The three to four hour training module contains three topics:
- Road Safety through Spirituality
- Traffic Control of the Mind
- Healing Habits
Training programmes have been held at Mumbai, Pune, Nasik, Aurangabad, Alibag, Rajmundry, Ghaziabad, Jabalpur. Some glimpses of the programmes are visible below:
Ghaziabad: A daylong seminar on Road Safety and Stress Management through Rajyoga Meditation was held for Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL) (A Prominent Public Sector Enterprise of Govt. of India) on 14/06/2013 at their Loni (Ghaziabad) plant.
In the first half, drivers and others attended the programme whereas in the second half executives participated (Please see attached photograph - seated in the front raw R-L Amit Das, Sr. Plant Manager, D.P. Gupta, Chief Regional Manager, BK Girija, BK Pius and others).
How road safety is important for the self and others, how Rajyoga Meditation can help overcome stressful situations, how values can make life valuable etc. was discussed at length through power point presentation. At end an interactive question-answer session was held followed by guided meditation.
Bro. D.P. Gupta, Chief Regional Manager, HPCL said workshop was very effective content wise and presentation wise. He further requested to conduct such talks time to time in future also.

Mahindra & Mahindra & Mumbai:
The Brahma Kumaris frequently engage with drivers at the M&M plant at Kandivali. Picture Exhibitions, lectures and pledge campaign have been organized in the past few years.

NAVTECH MAPS, Mumbai:
The Road Safety Quiz was organised for the staff of Navtech India Pvt Ltd. at their offices in Navi Mumbai and SEEPZ, Mumbai. Brief talks on Road Safety were also held. The quiz was hosted by the N.I.C.E. team at Navtech.
Bayer Ltd, Mumbai:
A session on Safety through Spirituality was conducted for the staff of Bayer in Mumbai.
